Southern Sisters Returns Policy
You may return/exchange most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.). However, for bedding and bath items there is a 15% restocking fee. Swimsuits, lingerie, sleeping apparel and similar items are not refundable if the protective piece has been removed or if there is no protective piece. Only 1 Free Exchange per order is allowed. Monogram & Personalized Items are ineligible for Exchanges/Returns.
You should expect to receive your refund within 7 to 15 days of SSD receiving the package, however, in many cases you will receive a refund much quicker. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days). Items such as bikinis, under garments, bathing suits and more cannot be returned if opened.
Orders over 60 days old are not eligibile for a refund, but can be returned for a store credit.

Please include order ID number and your name (along with new sizes/color/etc. for exchanges) with package. Also please keep your return tracking number for proof of delivery.
Shipping Outside Of The USA
We can ship to just about any address in the world - there will be shipping charges based on destination and weight. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
Back Orders and Pre Orders
Back Orders: Unless contacted by the customer we process refunds for items that will longer that 30 business days to process and ship. Customers can contact us through Facebook.com/SouthernSistersDesigns or Live Chat on any page on the website (between 9:30 and 4:30 EST.) to find out the status of an order. If a customer chooses to wait on the back order to arrive (if longer than the 30 days) we will note and adjust the order accordingly.
Pre Orders: Specific product pages show estimated pre-order arrival dates. The dates are subject to change. Our policy is to update the estimated arrival date through Facebook and through the webpage. If the customer chooses to refund at any time during the pre order process we will offer the full refund. However, if the order has already shipped then we do not offer a shipping refund nor do we offer a refund for return shipping. Pre Orders are designed to give customers a "first shot" at a hot new product that we are bringing in. The expected arrival dates can change drastically.
Chargebacks: If the customer has started the chargeback process we will not offer a refund until the chargeback process has been complete.
